If you have a dog, then you probably know that you need to attend to his needs, such as feeding him, taking him to the vet and so on. To help you out with this, there’s a new app called DogSync, currently available to iPhone users only. The purpose of the app is to make taking care of your dogs easy and communicative for all the members of your family. The app is totally free and comes with a bunch of really useful features. By using it, you can easily log what was done, communicate it to others or ask for help. It works like this – you need to tap a task and your pack will get a barkification and the app will always keep track of who did what and when, making it very easy to know whose turn it is.
The Tasks feature log and communicate doggy tasks, such as taking the dog for a walk, or taking him to the vet. The Asks option let you ask for help from another pack member and track their progress as they do it. The app comes with task badges in order to make your actions much quicker. It also comes with a Calendar which lets you look back at your history of logged tasks. There’s also a timeline inside the app which lets the entire pack know if the dog was fed or not, along with other daily activities. Think of DogSync as a dog care tracking app for the entire family. There’s also a stats section where you can see which family member has done the most for your canine friend in the last week or month. A future update is said to add the ability to send pictures of your dog to everyone in your Pack, and also the creation of a revenue model which will consist in matching dog owners to services and products.
