Dell XPS 13 (9300)
With the XPS 13, Dell is introducing what it calls the four-sided InfinityEdge display. Following the new approach helps the company offer a 13.4-inch design in an 11-inch form-factor that provides a 91.5% screen-to-body ratio and a larger 16:10 aspect ratio display. The laptop is built using aluminum and carbon fiber, and it comes in two finishes: Platinum Silver and Frost.
Coming to the display, the XPS 13 (9300) features a 4K UHD+ DisplayHDR panel, which promises to offer 500-nits of brightness and claims to cover 100% of the sRGB color gamut. Moreover, the panel has an anti-glare coating on top to reduce the glare and offer a better viewing experience, and it also comes with Eyesafe to reduce exposure to blue light. In terms of performance, the all-new XPS 13 runs on the Intel 10th-gen Core processors with Iris Plus graphics. The laptop gets Dell’s Dynamic Tuning Technology to optimize the CPU performance depending on the workload. Assisting the processor is up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of SSD storage.
Dell XPS 15 (9500)
Moving to the bigger model, the XPS 15 is also built on aluminum and carbon fiber materials, similar to XPS 13. It comes in two finishes: Platinum Silver and Black Carbon Fiber.
The XPS 15 (9500) shares the same display approach as the XPS 13 (9300), and it also comes with the four-sided InfinityEdge display that offers a 15.6-inch screen at a 92.9% screen-to-body ratio and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Talking about visual prowess, the panel offers 4K UHD+ resolution at 500-nits of brightness and covers 100% of the Adobe RGB and 93% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Moreover, the display also gets Corning’s Gorilla Glass 6 on top to protect against scratches and impacts. In addition, it also gets the Eyesafe protection to cut down on the harmful blue light and has an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare. As for internals, the XPS 15 runs on 10th-Gen Intel Core processors with up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics. The laptop offers adaptive performance, based on Intel’s Dynamic Tuning Technology, that changes the performance of the CPU based on your tasks and workload. Besides, the chipset is assisted with up to 1TB of SSD storage and up to 32GB of RAM.
