As the moniker suggests, the Flip C434 has a display hinge that can tilt and stand at various angles to be used in the tent mode or even a full 360-degree rotation to be used in tablet mode. There’s a backlit keyboard with 1.4mm key travel, dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity and you can choose from up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage. In terms of I/O, the Flip C434 has two USB Type-C ports which can be utilized to connect storage peripherals as well as external displays and can also be used for charging. Unlike the C302, the newer C434 brings back the beloved full sized USB-A port. There’s also a headphone jack for audio a micro SD card slot for memory expansion. The Asus Chromebook Flip C434 will be available in configurations of an Intel Core M3 8100Y, Core i5 8200Y and Core i7 8500Y. The Chromebook is expected to launch in a couple of months from now and will start at a price of $569. Chromebooks are nice alternative to full-fledged laptops given the portability that they offer along with the suite of Android apps, especially for students or as media consumption or writing machines when on the move, and the C302 from Asus has been regarded as a favorite by the crowd, and Asus claims to have improved further on its strengths.
