Why do all that when one of the most popular social media apps around lets you add bokeh to your images with minimum fuss? We are talking about Instagram. Yes, Instagram is better known as an image sharing social network and for its retro filter effects. But what not too many know is that it also comes with some rather powerful and yet simple to use image editing tools. And one of them is all about ‘Tilt shift’ or to use a more common term, bokeh....

If you’re still interested in knowing about them, here it goes. The new Desire 12 and Desire 12+ feature a 5.5-inch and 5.99-inch 720p 18:9 screens respectively. Both of them have up to 3GB of RAM and flaunt a liquid-surface design with a glossy back. The Desire 12+ runs on a Snapdragon 450 chipset, while the Desire 12 has a MediaTek MT6739 processor. Both of them have a primary 13-megapixel snapper on the rear....

During the event the company said that in the last two years they have sold over 15 million Kirin-powered smartphones, trying to prove that smartphones powered by their own in-house chip are getting more and more popular. It’s also worth pointing out that Kirin-powered devices are currently being sold in Asia and Europe as the US-based ones come with Qualcomm’s chips. Huawei also said that their Kirin chipsets are ready for VoLTE and that the Kirin 950 will be the first chipset to receive the CMCC VoLTE certification....

The Huawei MediaPad M5 is supposedly the first tablet to come with a 2.5D Curved Glass. It not only helps in improving the viewing angle of the device but also make it looks rather premium. The all-new MediaPads come in two display variants – 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch display with M Pen stylus. Speaking of displays, the all-new tablets comes with Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440p) IPS LCD panels. Furthermore, Huawei is equipping the tablets with a ClariVu display technology that promises better picture clarity....

And it seems that this new feature made a good impression on the folks over at Instagram, as they have released a new app which pretty much does the same thing as Live Photos. Available as a free download for iOS and Android users, here’s what Instagram said on their official blog: Boomerang becomes Instagram’s fourth mobile app, besides its main mobile client, photo-collage app Layout and Hyperlapse. Since the app has a very basic feature, it comes with just one button....

Lenovo claims, courtesy of all that power lying around, the Z5 Pro GT outpaces Apple’s iPhone XS lineup in Antutu benchmark tests. In addition to that, the upgraded Z5 Pro comes with 512GB of onboard storage and features a revamped carbon fiber exterior which is designed to resemble a supercar, apparently. The rest of the hardware is, however, identical. There’s an all-screen which houses the 6.39-inch 1080p display, two rear cameras — 16-megapixel + 24-megapixel, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and an in-display fingerprint scanner....

Ads sound pure evil, right? Something the Devil himself may have created to not only invade our privacy but also to burn a hole in our already shallow pockets. All right, so that is a bit of an exaggeration but you get the gist. So what if we tell you that it is because of these ads that we are able to use one of the most popular and efficient emailing systems ever developed....

Let’s get started with the looks. Apologies up front for the quality of the shots, but you can clearly see that the Jio 4G VoLTE phone is branded as Lyf, which is Jio’s sister-brand. The phone has a typical candy bar design with a 2.4-inch color screen on top and dual-language keypad at the bottom. There is a dedicated key for Torchlight (who wouldn’t want one?) flanked by the keys to receive and cut calls....

It is cute…kinda sorta Right, we need to hand it to Google for taking a design decision that makes Home look very different from the other smart speakers out there. The curved shape, slightly slanted top with a meshed base is extremely distinct, and has a certain cute appeal, in spite of being in relatively predictable shades of white and grey. Whatever the case, it certainly cannot be mistaken for a “routine” speaker like some of its rivals....

Honorable Design The 20i is built and designed in the typical Huawei/Honor fashion. It was Honor who pioneered the fancy gradient finishes on the back of mid-range smartphones and what made them stand out once upon a time has now become a norm in this segment. That doesn’t take away the fact that the Honor 20i looks and feels great in hand. Despite the 164g weight, it feels light and compact during usage....

The most obvious of these is in terms of design – after the slightly tall iPhone 11 and XR, the iPhone 12 is surprisingly compact....

Give those sides more than a side-glance! And that is because the sides of the iPhone 12 Pro Max are rather different from anything we have seen before on a phone. We got the Pacific Blue variant of the phone, and while the back’s beautifully subtle shade of blue, which almost looks like green from some angles, is going to catch some glances, the shiny straight blue sides are going to twist heads off their necks....

For Rs 23,999, the Galaxy F62 brings a whole lot to the smartphone table. In terms of both design and hardware. We got a unit with a rather unique lined pattern on the back, what Samsung terms a “laser gradient” design. The back itself is smooth and slightly glossy, but the lines on it give it a very different appearance. Samsung has also gone with a slightly square-ish camera unit on the back with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 main sensor (and a less impressive supporting cast of 12, 5, and 5-megapixel snappers), a change from the rectangles we have been seeing of late in their mid-segment offerings....

108 Million Pixels! Let’s begin with cameras as that’s the major highlight of this device. There are five cameras on the back of the Mi Note 10 and that’s not something we’re used to seeing. Microsoft Send (Free) The Send app from Microsoft originated from the Microsoft Garage initiative and now it has become a full-fledged app available for Android users. This new app basically brings emails into a messenger interface, making it much easier to operate with them. You will only see the messages started in Send and not your entire email inbox. At the moment it only works for Office 365 subscribers but this could change in a future version....
